Gala Celebrations

"Games People Play"
Following the success of previous years Galas we will be holding another gala on 2nd July this year.
The Gala will be a massive local charitable event, organised by local people for the benefit of the local community. It has the full support of the Parish Council and is being organised by many local volunteers from various backgrounds, including local business people, organisations and all the local churches
The activities on the day are from 12.00pm to 7.00pm based at the recreation ground by the Community Centre and will include something for all ages:

  • A large fun fair.

  • Various rides and features, e.g. bouncy castles, games.

  • Live bands and cabaret.

  • Entertainment, e.g. face painting, children’s entertainer.

  • Small stands/side shows, e.g. tombola, arts & crafts.

  • Five-a-side football, Tug-of-war.

  • Carnival procession with floats and fancy dress.

We urgently require stewards for the day, please
