Councils
South Normanton residents receive services from three different Councils. Starting with the most local these are:
- South Normanton Parish Council
- Bolsover District Council
- Derbyshire County Council
This undoubedly leads to confusion and it is sometimes difficult to know WHICH Council provides WHAT services. This difficulty is not helped by the fact that ALL THREE Councils have the power to deliver some services. This situation has been addressed following with the opening of ‘The Hub’ – a joint services centre providing a ‘one stop’ solution, as ALL THREE Councils, will be based under one roof.
For a guide as to which Council provides which services please click the ABC Guide to Servies. This will provide a useful first step. Links are provide to the Deryshire County Council, Bolsover District Council, and ‘The Hub’ and the South Normanton Parish Council web site, for more detailed information.
